I make my own powdered laundry detergent using Felsnptha bar. Works as well as Tide or Wisk for not nearly as much money.

My example will say it all. My daughter plays club soccer and after a game, her uniform which has white in it, got mud stains. I was at a hotel and one of the mothers offered to wash it for me. She brought it with the mud stain still there. The oxy product did nothing. I got home, ran water over the shirt and used my bar. Rubbed the bar on the stain, rubbed the shirt together and rinsed it under water. The dirt was gone. This was after the shirt had been washed and dried. Sometimes new isn't always better.
