I came to soapsgonebuy for the fels naptha and soilove. I looked at all the different products available. I was intrigued with the Octagon reviews especially the ones talking about how people have used it on their skin. My mother has acne and psorioasis and I suffer from acne too. So I bought a bar for her and one for me as well as one for the laundry. Let me tell you my acne cleared up right away! My mother said that the soap works great on her psorioasis. A friend had really bad acne and I gave her a piece of my bar and she was very excited with the results. She said that she bought several bars the day after I gave a piece.

Please know that I have used this soap for 32 years but.Back when my kids were little my daughter got into some poison ivy and her little face swelled up until her eyes were closed a little old man told me to take the soap and make a lather with it and put it on her face and leave it but hten we had to do that every time we thought about it. With in a couple of days the swelling was gone and she had no scars on her fac. My husband also uses the soap that way cause he is also alergic to poison ivy. THANK YOU FOR THIS SOAP. It is a very special soap.The only thing is that until now it was very hd to find in some stores. The only stores that I could find it in is the little stores in the very small townes. I am writing this because I didn't know you could order online. I am visiting the West Coast from D.C., and my sister made me bring two bars of octagon soap with me because she was breaking out and couldn't find it in the stores. It has been a beauty secret in my family for decades. I had a facial last night and The practitioner asks what I washed my face with. I told her she may run screaming if I told her,but a laundry soap. She said I had no congestion or anything on my face. She now wants Octagon soap. My mom used it on me when I would have eczema breakouts as a child. My son has acne and I wet the bar and smoothed it over his face and let it dry for an hour. You could notice a difference after he rinsed it, and it cleared a little more in 24 hours. I'll do it again after my vacation. God Bless the makers of this wonderful product.

I purchased this soap after hearing a lady explain how it cleared up her acne. I have used the soap on my face for over a year and it is amazing. It does not over dry your skin, but it keeps your skin from being oily. Since I've started using the soap I have had little to no acne. I will continue to buy.

Keeps away ticks	June 1, 2008

My son works at a camp each summer which is located in the woods. There is always a challenge with the ticks. This soap keeps them away due to the lemon grass smell. He uses it daily. We have not been able to find in any of our local stores. We would not go a summer without it.

I use Octagon soap for laundry while I am traveling. It cleans well, rinses easily, is very long lasting and gentle on my skin. Given the limitations on liquids for air travel, it is an ideal liquid detergent substitute. A small chunk of Octagon soap is all I need to keep my business clothes clean and smelling fresh.

For over two years I was a novice in a monastery of contemplative nuns, and one of my duties was that of laundress. The Sisters swear by Octagon soap and have used it for decades. I had never heard of it, but now I am a true convert. I am relieved to know that this powerful and versatile soap can be purchased online. It's a whiz at removing even the toughest stains. and believe me, every faint little stain can be noticed on an ivory-white habit.

I've been using this soap for years as an all purpose cleaner, especially good for grease. I use it for the stove top, the oven, the refrigerator, greasy pots, grimy plastic. Good for clearning the bathtub. And oddly, it is gentle enough for hand laundry. I have an uncle who remembers how good it was from his KP duty during the Korean War, but otherwise I don't know anyone else who uses this, so I am always relieved to find it in stock in stores and online. Anyway, this is good soap.
